The National Campaign for Combating Drugs and Treating Addiction is a nationwide initiative launched by Syria's Ministries of Interior and Health under the slogan "A Drug-Free Syria." The campaign aims to unite government institutions and community partners in preventing drug abuse, strengthening public awareness, expanding treatment and rehabilitation services, and supporting long-term recovery. It is built around three core pillars: law enforcement, prevention and awareness, and treatment and social reintegration, reflecting a comprehensive national approach to protecting public health and safety.
The event was launched in the presence of His Excellency President Ahmad Al-Sharaa, Minister of Interior Eng. Anas Hassan Khattab, Minister of Health Dr. Musab Al-Ali, along with a number of ministers and ambassadors from several countries.
